Detection of superhumps in Gaia16ahk during its ongoing superoutburst
According to the data from TRANSIENT Name Service (TNS), Gaia16ahkAT 2016dun was discovered on 2016-03-04 14:39:50.000 by A. Delgado, D. Harrison, S. Hodgkin, M. van Leeuwen, G. Rixon, A. Yoldas (University of Cambridge), on behalf of Gaia Alerts team.
Our follow-up observations were obtained on 07/08 September, 2026 with the 0.7-m f/4 AZT-8 telescope at the Observational Station Lisnyky of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, the 0.7-m f/6.5 PlaneWave CDK700 telescope at Planetarium Śląskie in Chorzów and with the 60-cm Cassegrain telescope at the Astronomical Observatory of the University of Warsaw in Ostrowik. On the reulted lightcurve we can clearly detected superhumps. The measured superhump period is Psh = 0.07936(4)d. The results were published in The Astronomer's Telegram.
