Gaia22dbc: a new SU UMa-type dwarf nova during its ongoing superoutburst
According to the data from TRANSIENT Name Service (TNS), Gaia22dbc/AT 2022qcr was discovered on 2022-07-22 08:54:14.400 by S.T. Hodgkin, E. Breedt, A. Delgado, D.L. Harrison, M. van Leeuwen, G. Rixon, T. Wevers, A. Yoldas (IoA Cambridge), N. Ihanec, K. Kruszyńska, K.A. Rybicki, Ł. Wyrzykowski (Warsaw University Astronomical Observatory), Z. Kostrzewa-Rutkowska (Leiden Observatory), D. Eappachen (SRON/RU), G. Marton (Konkoly Observatory), on behalf of the Gaia Alerts team
Our follow-up observations were obtained on 16/17 August, 2026 with the 0.7-m f/4 AZT-8 telescope at the Observational Station Lisnyky of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. On the reulted lightcurve we can clearly detected superhumps. The measured superhump period is Psh = 0.1030(73)d. The results were published in The Astronomer's Telegram.
